Update On Next Sailing:

Voyage 98 will be loading in Houston on the 8th through 10th of July. However, it will not sail until the 18th of July, due a required 72 hour US Customs check on a vehicle which is being loaded. This type of delay occurs when any type of titled vehicle is being shipped, and does not happen on every shipment. Thank you for your patience.

Voyage 99 is expected to be loaded on the 12th August. As always, this is tentative and hinges on our cargo volume.

General Rate Increase

Due to the ever changing requirements of shipping, we must now charge a 1% insurance surcharge for the value of your items you are sending. This is a requirement for us, and apologize for the additional charge incurred.

Ocean Freight

LCL

Sterling Freight Services utilizes a variety of ocean going vessels for its container movements. For small, Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments, we will consolidate your cargo with other freight. This allows us to keep our freight rates low. As an independent operator, Sterling Freight is able to offer optimum cost effective shipping services to your final destination. Our personnel in Houston have extensive experience in handling, receiving and stuffing export LCL freight into steamship containers.

When goods arrive at our Belize warehouse, the same level of expertise is at your disposal when unloading and sorting your cargo. Our forklift equipped warehouse has industrial shelving for safe storage and other specialty tools of the trade to move your goods.

FCL

Sterling offers a reduced rate for shipper owned or leased container. The ocean lines we utilize sail on competitive transit times, and offers the lowest possible rates.

Some of the options you may need :

	Spotting a container at you place of business for loading.
	Your goods can be consolidated at our warehouse location and packed into the export container for shipment.
	We can wrap, pack and/or crate items as needed.

We will provide the appropriate paperwork for US Customs as well as process documents through Belize Customs.

Breakbulk, LoLo, RoRo

Contact Sterling Freight Services for your unique project and odd shaped freight. Lift On, Lift Off (LoLo) and Roll On, Roll Off (RoRo) cargo is a possibility as well. Vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment are all types of cargo we have had experience in moving.

Important Information

Invoices and packing lists should be turned into the Houston office or attached to the outside of the packages being shipped.

This is very important in order to process items through both U.S. and Belize Customs.

Flammable and other hazardous goods incur a substantial extra charge for Haz-Mat paperwork and special handling.
